“Goodbyes are not forever,

They simply mean I’ll miss you,

31st of January was the last time of our practicum teaching. Jessica and I gave a short speech after the flag ceremony in front of all of the teachers and students. I said thank you for everything that has been given to us. We learn a lot from them. We also got a souvenir from the principal.

In the class, after teaching, the students gave us surprises such as giving us gifts and singing a song for us. It was so touching and made me cry. Before I entered the class I said to myself that I would not cry, but the students cried then I cried. I love them so much. After they sang a song for us then I gave them a letter and Ms. Namfon translated and read it for them. They listened to her truly and they started crying. Then, they hugged us and said “teacher, don’t go, we will miss you”. When I heard that, I could not answer anything. We want to stay longer but we have to go back. But I’m sure, one day we will see you again. Thank you, my beloved students, for creating these precious moments for us. We will always love you.

After teaching, we were invited to have lunch together with Mr. Preecha, Mrs. Supakkeenee, Mrs. Phavarath, Mrs. Teerapon, and Mrs. Gittima. We enjoyed the lunch and we showed our gratitude for the valuable experiences that we got during the practicum. We are so grateful for all the things that we got and learned. It’s such an honor for us to be a part of this school and this Sea-Teacher project. A good time comes and goes, but the memories will last forever. Maybe that’s the best sentence that can describe this moment. Thank you SEAMEO, Sea-Teacher, Chiang Rai Rajabhat University, Chiang Rai Municipality School 3, and UNDIKSHA, for giving us chance to experience these memorable moments and enhance the skills at once.
